Art & Design in 1 Pop Up Gallery

The Westelijk Handelsterrein in the centre of Rotterdam is a stunning complex dating from 1894. Beautiful industrial warehouses host different companies and restaurants. The area and the building are currently being revived to make it a vibrant centre for arts, culture and entertainment once again.

Both accessART and Hopppakee were asked to exhibit in one of the warehouses. But we soon realized that to make this a real success, we needed to collaborate! We aimed to make this pop up store an easy going, adventurous and most all beautiful interior experience. See how are looks in a real living room, instead of on the wall of a gallery. Experience how hand-made furniture can make a real difference in the way your home will feel.

And people are delighted! Some people said “it looks like this shop has been here for 10 years already” and “this is really what the WHT needed!”.

Mission accomplished :-)!
